From February 1st, 2022, Facebook applies conversation-based pricing on WhatsApp.

WhatsApp will charge per initiated conversation. WhatsApp Business API conversations fall into two categories that are priced differently:

  • User-initiated: a 24-hour window that starts when the business responds to a customer message
  • Business-initiated: a 24-hour window that starts when the business sends a message to the customer

The first 1000 conversations (that can be of any of the two types) every month will be free, so the charges will only start on conversation number 1001.

Amio Pricing

We will not charge any extra fees on the conversation rates that are billed by Facebook.
We will continue to charge the fixed monthly fee for WhatsApp accounts.

Here's how you can calculate your monthly fees:

  • TOTAL_MONTHLY_PRICE = AMIO_FIXED_FEE + FACEBOOK_FEES
